At PeopleWorks, we believe people are the driving force behind what works. The single greatest way to improve results in your organization is by investing in your people. Healthy leaders lead healthy teams, and healthy teams produce healthy results.

One thing elite leaders have in common with elite athletes is coaching. Our Executive Coaching services empower your leaders with the skills, insights, and strategies they need to drive elite performance. We tailor every engagement to the person in front of us, whether they are stepping into a bigger role, working through a hard problem, or simply ready to get better at what they already do well.

Common Coaching Scenarios

Coaching isn’t one thing. The right engagement depends on where your leader is and what you’re trying to accomplish. These are the situations we are brought in to support most often.

  1. New Executive Intensive
You’ve just promoted someone into a bigger role and you want them to hit the ground running. We help them build a 30-60-90-180 day plan to accelerate performance from the start. This often works best as a focused intensive, one to two days right out of the gate rather than coaching spread thin over twelve months, followed by periodic check-ins through the year to keep the plan on track.
  2. Big Problem Sprint
A major problem is on the table, and the leader needs to work toward a solution quickly. We bring a coaching sprint to the leader, or to their key team, so the people who have to get it right have dedicated support while they do.
  3. Navigating a Transition
A new role, a new team, or a reorganization changes the ground under a leader’s feet, and they need to find their footing quickly. Coaching alongside the leader through the transition gives them a steady resource through the stretch where the role is still new.
  4. Growth & Development
This is our most common engagement, typically running around twelve months, and it doesn’t start with a crisis. Sometimes you simply have an emerging or high-potential leader, or talent already in a bigger role, worth investing in over time. Ongoing coaching supports strong leaders in their current role and their long-term career growth, giving your best people a steady resource to keep getting better. It’s one of the clearest signals you can send that you’re invested in them.

Our Approach

Coaching is personal, so we build each engagement around the individual rather than running everyone through the same track.

Most engagements run a minimum of six months, with an average of about eight, and some extend beyond a year. We’ll recommend the length and cadence that fit the goal, whether that’s a short intensive with check-ins or a longer program alongside the leader.

  1. Personalized Coaching Plans
We start with a thorough look at each leader’s strengths, development areas, and professional goals, then build a coaching plan around the specific challenges and opportunities in front of them.
  2. Experienced Coaches
Our coaches bring real experience from a range of industries, and they’ve led at the level of the people they coach. They offer practical perspective that helps leaders reach their full potential, not theory from a textbook.
  3. Confidential and Supportive Environment
We create a confidential, supportive space where leaders can explore new ideas, get honest feedback, and develop real strategies. The goal is trust, because that’s where meaningful growth happens.

Engagement length depends on the goal. A focused sprint addresses an urgent problem in a short, intensive window, while ongoing coaching for a transition or for growth and development typically runs around twelve months. We’ll recommend the length and cadence that fit what you’re trying to accomplish.
